According to Hammish I'm half right.After reading his post I moved my sporran strap outside the loops. He's right...moving the sporran to one side is less of a pain, and the strap isn't pulling on them.
I won't say I've changed my ways. I'm going to try it for a while and see how it works for me. I'll see how it works when I go on a fairly strenuous hike and really get moving.
