I am of both Welsh and Scottish heritage (with some Irish thrown in for luck
). I tend to wear a kilt belt with a Welsh dragon on the buckle plate or the semi-formal Welsh sporran from Usakilts here:

I myself if I wanted a "Welsh" PC I would get one with gold buttons, instead of the standard silver, and leave off the tartan cuffs. It seems a little contrived to me. After all, one can walk from Scotland to Wales in a fairly short time. I suspect there has been a lot more mixing than many would care to admit.
