The Lewis hose arrived today from Matt Newsome...They are the new Lovat Green with the blue...AWESOME. I dont have my Macdonald Lord of the Isles finished yet but it should match perfectly. I will post as soon as I get it. The shipping was amazingly fast!

I recently got an Isle Of Skye (Lochcarron Strome) kilt and today, while waiting to play at a funeral, I was looking at the colours and wondering if some sort of taupe (grey/brown with a somewhat purplish tinge) hose would work best with it.

Has anyone paired your "dark natural" hose with IOS? How does it look?

Or your Lovat Green, which from the photo appears to be more of a "seafoam green" than most Lovat Green hose are.

I've seen all three shades of our green hose worn with the Isle of Skye and they all look great (there are multiple shades of green in the tartan). Though, my own preference is for the loden green hose. It doesn't hurt that I just really like that color, though. :-)

I can't say that I've seen the dark natural hose worn with the Isle of Skye, but I imagine they would look great. I have seen the bison color worn with it and it looks spectacular.

Another color that compliments the tartan well is the grey.
