I'm not a big fan of that type of tie. Its noticable even in that picture that it is a clip on. If that is the tie to be worn, then I would use a laydown collared shirt, not the wing tip. If you change to a bow tie, then see if they can pair you up with a 3 button vest, like with a PC, but keep the same style jacket. The hose look like navy blue. At least they are not white. But I think a little more color could be used down there. If you can spring for some better hose, something in one of the red tones would really set you off. If not then add some red flashes with those. I'm ok with the plaid. But I would only wear it for the ceremony. If you are having a sit down reception, I would take it off. It'll just get in the way. But have it handy for the official photos.
