Nick,
I was looking at the Do's and Don'ts, and just for clarification: if we register more than one site (e.g. facebook, myspace, etc) and our name is drawn then when you check the winner does all the sites/url's registered under our email show up, or is it just the one registered url?
I'm thinking of those who didn't have a social media site /blog & registered an XMTS post, but now need to sign-up for a social media site /blog if they wish to participate.
How exactly does it work?

As you've probably seen on the Dos & Don'ts bit, we basically say we'll apply common sense. We want to encourage people to give us mentions, including a hyperlink to any page under www.scotweb.co.uk (I mention this here, because we've had the odd .com - which we don't own - and even a couple of email addresses being registered, which don't count).
But like most people, we hate spam, and we really don't want to be blamed for anyone populating blog comments on other people's blogs with our link etc. So we've had to put that condition in. So yes, when we do a draw, our systems will show us not just the winning entry but any other entries that person has made. But as long as they are sufficiently distinct, that's fine by us. And sufficiently distinct, in my view, could even in practice involve quite distinct links in different parts of someone's web site, for example... on their home page and on their links page, for example.
But one on facebook and another on myspace, in your own example, are definitely no problem. That's two separate entries. We do see both. And we're happy.

And finally, sorry to those disgruntled voices who resent our request for an online link. I do understand the feelings, but hope you also appreciate that we've put together this pretty generous draw in the hope that it's win-win for everyone involved - you get a real chance of a really nice prize, and we hopefully get to increase awareness of what we do. So there's obviously self-interest behind it too. Having said that, if anyone can suggest a non-online alternative that would satisfy our side of the bargain (e.g. evidence of a mention in your local newsletter) I'm all ears!
