Greetings,
Sorry to say, figheadair and English Bloke the union flag is not upsidedown in the braveheart pic LOL
All the best,
Graham
EDIT: oh I see cause the union flag in the pic is viewed from the left of the flag pole, and would be reversed from the point...sorry LOL also yeah the tartan in the pic is the Wallace tartan, though it looks weathered and well worn by the red eyed warrior!!!

Any idea what this is?
Have you ever heard of the band Iron Maiden? They wrote a song called The Clansman a few years ago, released it as a single, and this was the cover art. They always make original cover art for their singles. The "red eyed warrior" is named Edward T. Head, or Eddie to fans of the band. Their single The Trooper has, I think, my favorite cover art:
By the way, notice my avatar. Yeah, I'm a bit of a Maiden fan...

Looks kind of like a muted version of Wallace, which of course is NOT the tartan worn by him in the movie Braveheart.
Would not have jack being upside down in is wind rippled state.
Overall picture a bit hideous IMHO.

For what I guess must be internal security reasons, I'm not seeing the item in the OP but as far as the Iron Maiden thing goes: Like, you know, its hideousness is total, Dude. And it looks to me as if the white... I don't know how to refer to them... bars are actually equal on both sides of the Cross of St Patrick- a common mistake in punk culture, at least on this side of the Atlantic.
EDIT: I've decided the white should be referred to as "background." The background bars of white?

Yep. There's something just a little out of place like that. The cat is a little more overt than most, though. You should see the Somewhere In Time album cover- there is so much packed into that one!

The waterfall on the right sort of makes a face. That's what keeps catching my eye.

Just got an interesting email from the Iron Maiden fan club- Maiden won an Emmy for their new single El Dorado! Shocked the heck out of me- I didn't even know the Grammy association, whatever that may be, were aware of the bands existence! Makes this 26-year fan happy!
