    I received 3 pair of white hose, one does not look to be wool. The others maybe, one is McRitchie of Edinburgh and marked 80% wool 20% nylon, the last one I do not know how much is wool. I had thought about trying to dye them, I suppose I am not out much.

    I would probably give the coffee a try. If you look carefully at pictures of both Hamish and Matt Newsome you will see that both can get a lot of mileage out of "natural brown" hose.

    At 80% wool it is worth a try I think.
