    Granted, these men don't have shoulder patches, but the idea of a kilt shooting jacket isn't anathema to highland attire.

    It happens for sure, but rarely when deer stalking.

    It looks to me like these Gentlemen are Grouse shooting from the rock and turf "Butts" which we in North America would call "Blinds".

    I admire their shooting jackets but crave that beautiful little hunting cocker spaniel they have with them to retrieve the birds!

    Still can't see the pictures, but what you describe makes sense. It is still a fairly unusual sight though. Out shooting, tweed jackets and plus4's yes every time, tweed kilt jackets and the kilt I see rarely.

    That is awful. Aside from the obviously hideous suede patches it's pure 70's and the lapels are gastly... Armstrongs do some nice stuff from time to time. This isn't one of them.
