Personally, a shooting jacket just does not look right with the patches on both shoulders. In my mind, if you have the money for a shooting jacket, you have it custom made. If it is custom made, you only have the patch on the shoulder the butt of the stock rests on. To have patches on both shoulders, to my eye, looks tacky. In this case, it totally ruins the jacket. No matter how nice the material, it loses that custom look and then looks mass produced. Just my view of it anyway.
