Reminds me of when my wife and I were in Oban in the 1980s and went into a pub where upstairs there was a band doing tradtional Scottish music.
It was fiddle and accordion accompanied by a woman playing synth.
But when she began singing various Scottish songs, it was with a fake American Southern accent!!! Her real accent was a lovely Highland Scots one.

No no no! Just sitting in the audience, thank you! :-)

No, I'll be leaving very early the next morning for Washington, DC, to speak at a Tartan Day symposium there.
I will be participating in the Tartan Day exhibit on Ellis Island April 1-3, though, so come check that out!

This does look like it would be fun. Ticket prices are wild!
From "Affordable" $99 for a good cause to $8,000 for a table for 10.
Maybe I will win the lottery this week and can take 9 of my closest friends :0)

Brilliant, at last someone has persuaded Billy Connolly to don a kilt.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

Connolly wore kilts in the excellent movie "Mrs. Brown" and looked good in them, too. Of course, he probably got paid for it, too. ;-)
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
