    I like the tartan, but the Edzel and Beartrap are ahead of it in line. I really wish someone would make a tartan for Naval Aviation. Us airdales are always forgotten.
    The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

    Agreed!

    I got on a tartan designer and came up with these for Naval Aviation..



    And with the Brown stripe for the Brownshoes!


    And one more... my favorite:

    I like the second one. Wish I could afford to have a weaver make a few yards! Then all I'd have to do is soak it overnight in a mix of MIL-PRF 83282 and JP-5 and smear a bit of 8802 on it...you know, for authenticity!

    As an airframer I still think of hyd fluid as a condiment, and PD-680 as a nice mixer. It has a slightly minty aftertaste, reminiscent of Southern Comfort.
