Yes, I found the measurements sheet! Now for a tartan... Any suggestions?

Not having noticed the flammability direction in this thread, I just started a
thread on this subject, with links to DIY solution. In General Kilt Talk.

Given the theme of this thread, how about the Firefighters' Memorial?

I've only seen the wool version, but that is an absolutely beautiful tartan. The photos don't begin to do it justice.

Of Rocky's designs, the American Heritage and German heritage are also stand-outs. Caledonia and Holyrood are personal favorites of mine, as well. All these are universal tartans.

I've satisfied my budget with a USAK Casual, in Isle of Skye. My girly likes purple and the different shades mix well with some shirts I have. Hopefully I don't burst into flames.

I don't think you will; you probably have a number of articles of clothing made of materials very similar to your new kilt (some of those shirts, perhaps?) and you haven't burst into flames yet.

    Congratulations on the new kilt!

Last summer I got an Isle of Skye USAK Casual and I get lots of compliments on it. I bought green and purple polos to go with it. It's best to have the kilt with you when you buy the shirts because there are many different shades of color, some look great, some don't.
