AAAAGGH!!!!! That's terrible! And very compelling evidence to have the kilt cleaned (either hand-washed or dry-cleaned - or anywhere along that spectrum) on a regular basis.
If you hadn't said it was moth damage, I would have thought it was wear from an extremely sedentary kilt-wearer.

Toxic farting can be hard to avoid living in Scotland, given the huge popularity of spicy Indian carry out for supper. And after a big night 'doon th toon',there's those type of kebabs I hadn't experienced till I lived there. The hot and spicy sauce they put on those!Man I can tell you,Elvis Presly's song burning ring o fire comes to mind!
As for the frontal residues on the kilt aprons that obviously attract those sleekit, fly wee ba----ds,maybe too much morgans spiced and coke, followed too often by a bottle of Bucky?

I stand corrected.Just to show how up with it I am with American pop culture,I actually stared at your post there for a while thinking
"Johnny Cash, what sort of drink is that?I don't remember seeing that the whole time I was in Scotland!"

Oh man, Johnny Cash must be spinning in his grave after being classified as part of American pop culture!

English Bloke,If any of you have got a chuckle out of this i'm glad.
I got a laugh myself, actually, for not being quick enough to realize that Droid wasn't trying to point out a drink that may have caused 'dribble errosion' of the kilt aprons in question, but to correct me on who sang 'Ring of fire'.
Must say,not sure of the pop culture angle,Tobus,as definition of pop culture is anything well liked or well known on a popular level.Surely johnny cash can still be included in the well known of American singers?Any how,if something like this is enough to make you drizzle maple syrup over the breakfast table as well as your waffles because you're having a laugh, then I hope it cheers up the poor lad with the nibbled on kilts as well!
(How's that for a sleekit way to steer the thread back on track)
