			Date Night Wear

It was dinner and a late night movie last night with the wife who dressed me in my latest kilt (Black Watch from Je Suis Prest), green polo, and claret Lewis. I was allowed to choose the garters so I picked green knit that she made.
Very lovely night and even with the temps pushing 100F and very high humidity, I was incredibly comfy. Nothing like a wool kilt, and the fun of sitting in stadium seating thinking that I just might be showing a bit too much if anyone turned around.... and not caring.

BTW, the movie was Bridesmaids. Total chick flick, but a darn good one. Almost wet myself in a few places.

 Standard pleat shot.

Yeah.. I make her very proud sometimes.

Looks very comfortable. I especially like the choice of hose--they look great with the kilt. Well done.

He did look very nice. I feel lucky to be with him.
He does love the claret hose. I think he's been dying to have an excuse to put them on.

Despite the second picture he posted here, he's not the Monty Python fan in our house. I've never been more proud *sniff*

Considering the distinctly non Scottish temperatures(PHEW!), I think you have adapted extremely well, whilst keeping to the Scots theme.Well done sir.

I've often wondered how my Scots and Irish ancestors adapted to the hot weather in this part of the continent.

Great look, by the way. I like the red hose especially.

Thanks guys! She always dresses me well. It's when I am left on my own that things go downhill. I was holding out for the waistplate and formal sporran but I wasn't allowed.
Earlier in the day we were out street shopping and I was wearing a PV kilt, dress T-shirt and boots. Wasn't awfully hot, but I did find the wool to be a tad bit cooler, if I had to choose.

I do love the claret hose. Such a great color.
