However trying to find hose that match your tartan(s) can be either difficult or expensive. Will post seperate thread for suggestions.

There are countless threads on XMTS in regards to this topic, but kilt hose do not necessarily have to match one's tartan exactly, in fact, it is probably far better that they do not. In my opinion, there is nothing inherently wrong with contrasting the colour of the kilt hose, with the colours of the tartan. Of course, pipe bands are uniform, so obviously, all members will (should) have the same style and colour of kilt hose.

Hard to think that it's three years since I was last there!
Thanks for the pictures to show us what we missed guys!
Enjoyed the video of the Gay Gordons, clearly a lot of work had gone into the preparation.

What a marvellous selection of atmospheric images of Harpenden. Thanks to all who have contributed them. I too was disappointed at not being able to make it, for the third successive year. Hopefully matters of health will have improved sufficiently for me to resume regular attendances from 2012.
Take care,
Ham.

That's the best news I've heard in a long time!
