I like the titles. Let's have a them. They're harmless and fun.

Titles? What titles? I haven't noticed them.

I'm convinced you are right. I used to come here, often several times a day. Now I realize that it has taken me 9 months to read your message. The lack of titles might be a minor thing. But it is one year, I see, since the poll closed. And nothing has happened and despite the fact that members seemed to want their titles back. Well, the members who participated were an absolute minority, but their opinions could very well be more important than the silent majority. Doing absolutely nothing is worse than up front telling members, "we don't want titles".
It used to be the way best forum regarding kilt wearing. May be it still is? I visit too seldom these days, I admit - and not because my interest in kilt wearing has declined. I think the opportunities here are so many. Exploit them, rather than neglect them. That is my best and whole hearted advice. Forum administration/forum owner: Take my critisism the positive way it was meant to be. I think, the XMTS spirit has somewhat disappeared.

I missed the Poll, but what the heck. I once had a Rank in the Army but never a title. I enjoy the Forum as it is.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
The entire staff have been working on a way to recognize those members who have made a tangible contribution to the forum.
We will be making an announcement on the 1st of June.
As this new announcement will supersede this issue, and as the recent posts are about an older system I will close this thread hoping you can be patient for just a few more days.
