    Hi Brian

Yes - its one of the possible evils when you mix a large sett and 5 yards of fabric - the kilt maker decided to maximize the number of pleats (21) so they fudged the pleating. I actually like the effect but others I suspect may not.

Phil, that is another fine kilt you have there, beautifully co-ordinated (as usual!) and worn with striking confidence - what else should we expect?!! I love the colours in that version of the Caledonia tartan, but then I prefer all the Ancient, Muted and Weathered colours to the modern ones. Well chosen my friend.

Looks great! The two blues (shirt and hose) work so well with it.

thats a great looking kilt. I really like it. Im torn right now between getting a kilt in the Caledonia tartan or the Prince of Wales.

Those are very kind words indeed Ham - its funny - as time goes by I have really come to appreciate the Ancient, Muted, and Weathered version of colors as well - and I think that "Ancient" red is just a beautiful shade of red indeed.

Lovely colours, I really like it. Together with the wall - what a splash of colour. Who says mens' clothing needs to be dull!

That is a great looking kilt. I was amazed with the number of pleats that it had with it being a 5 yarder. And I like the way it's pleated... sorta pleated to half of the sett. It's kinda neat; never seen anything like it before.

That is one cool TARTAN!!! As usual when someone post pics of a tartan that I have considered in the past but didn't like the digital image . The actual fabric looks great and I add another Tartan to my wish list. Again GREAT LOOKING KILT!!! CR66
