Wow, that is a nice tartan! Does anyone know if it's offered in a more "affordable" kilt? (I.E.: not a wool tank, maybe P/V or something?)

I may have missed this in an earlier post, but did you get the philabeg from Celtic Croft? If so, did you get any of the additional options?

Captain, to answer you question, I don't believe the Braveheart tartan is available in PV, well, not this one. I think Rocky (USAKilts) has one called Braveheart but is totally different.
I believe it's only available through Celtic Croft and the wool is a coarse, open weave tartan. It looks and feels earthy, natural, wild (which is me) 
If you order one, do email Joseph to specify options such as sewn pleats, leather straps, lining etc. The standard offer on the website is a more rugged wrap around.
