This evening yielded possitive experiences!
Hey there rabble!
With the growing monster of a thread about religious nuts driving the rest of us nuts (and by "religious nuts" I mean the people who take their beliefs too far and force them on others; not NOT any and all religious people, as I myself am very spiritual) I thought I would start a thread about a very pleasant Greek lady I met. She owns a leather shop I went into tonight. The first thing she did was to gush over my Black Stewart and ask all kinds of question- family lines, what the tartan means, the ever present triskele medallion around my neck. She asked what the occasion was, and when I told her that there is none, that wear it because I love it, she was all the more impressed. And then we went to the eye doctor... where I met a Buchannan, with whom I got into another very pleasant conversation. I gave her the website address of the Renaissance Scots, the living history group that I'm in, and just had a very good time talking to her and her future daughter in law.
So it was a very good evening overall. How about everyone else?
