Very nice, both ladies and dresses. Now I need to have Mrs. Standard get of those. Actually my daughter would like a tartan dress for her senior prom, not sure now after seeing how lovely these ladies look if I should let her or not.

    Bookmarked the site.

My wife has actually made several renaissance dresses for the renfair, including corsets with stay and laces. I'll have to put the bug in her head about some of those.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the simple blue and white dress you called sort of renfaire-ish. I think I just might make one of those.

    Have you all seen www.dressedtokilt.com?

He's just intimidated by the size of those pipes - and that's why she looks triumphant!

<< BTW, Steve, the Scottish couple came all the way to Graceland to get married in summer heat? In full Highland attire? >>

10-4 Rubber Ducky. The couple are devoted Elvis aficionados. They brought 17 family members & friends too. I tried to dissuade them from wearing the formal Highland rig in the August heat, but they'd have none of that.

That night, the newly wedded couple attended the Candlelight Vigil.

<< Looks like that lad managed to hunt down the ever-elusive PURPLE acryli-beast (quite a feat, I must say). He also has a VELVET PC jacket--the Elvis vibe, I guess. I am digging the cool saltire sporran chain. Did you play any Elvis tunes on the pipes? >>

Actually the sporran was dyed fur - dunno what creature. The bridegroom was the peacock, the rest of us males paled in comparison with our simple black PC's.

At the reception, the only Elvis tune I piped was Love Me Tender. By then the alcohol was flowing like a cow relieving itself on a flat rock and the only tunes they wanted/demanded to hear were dancing tunes. It took me two days to recover from that gig. Lordy, how those people knocked back the Jack Daniel's.

    Slainte yall,
    steve
