I have gone out with my sporran because I use a travel waller which can be worn with my belt.
I have gone out without kilt hose because I wear sandals in the summer
I don't own a sgian dubgh.
However, i don't usually wear my kilt without any footwear.

I can't say that there's anything that I don't like, but I do have some shudders at some of the sights I have seen by hirers for example whom have no proper idea of how to wear it.

My belt. I just feel that I look right without it. Not to mention the fact that I adore my stag buckle from USAK.

Well polished shoes. I think nothing brings down the look of the kilt as much as a pair of scuffed (or scruffy) shoes.

I've been thinking about this. I need my nice wool kilt sox in the winter. My feetsies get chilly otherwise.

Brooster, I'll mind them for you. You provoked quite a quandary for quips with the qualification of the use of the letter q. It is quintessentially a quest for the quick-witted to quite quickly quantify qualified quirky quixotic quotable quotes without quitting the question. Quid pro quo. ![Razz](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
On topic: I can't do without my sporran either. Everything else is negotiable depending on the occasion, but without pockets, the keys have to go somewhere or I don't get back in the house.
