Indeed. Somehow it doesn't seem right that they would hijack Beltaine/Mayday as their No Pants Day. It is only one step removed from choosing Easter as No Pants Day. Both fall among the sabbats and esbats (or quarter days and half quarter days if you prefer) of the old calendar, as do Samhain/Halloween and Yule/Christmas, and others less well known.

actually, I think it is just the first Friday of May, which this year is May 1st, but not next nor last year.
