Need quick advice re hose

I went with the purple. As expected, my kiddo went with white piper's hose. We were treated very well. We played okay, but not great, but there's a lot to be said for playing for an audience which may be unsophisticated but sure is appreciative. They've already asked us back for next year. The charity is a wonderful group of folks, and they make a big difference in people's lives, so we're there.

Personally I like the look when the hose comes at least close to the kilt. that is my humble opinion :-)

It all boils down to a matter of personal taste. I have found it helpful to remember that specific matches are less important than the over all effect. A lot of purple in the kilt, purple fine, also black golf shirt, black is fine too. I would, however, avoid getting too many colours all at once (tartan excepted)

Black or purple, something pulled out of the tartan, don't care for white much. Hose tops two finger widths below the kneecap. For me anyway
