I don't know whether I like it or not, but it is certainly cleverly done.

Thank you very much for showing some close ups , I'd love to be able to see and feel the cloth
Paul, I just want to say that I really like your attitude about the whole thing.

Wow! You wouldn't even have to be wearing white hose to stand out in this thing! Not my cup of tea...

Me too. I would love to see how the cloth was constructed. It's a bit out there, but I have to say, I like it. Definately a non-traditional tartan, with a suprise twist.

Thanks for sharing these, Piglet. The material choice is CERTAINLY interesting, and may not be everyone's cuppa (I think it's fascinating to look at, but probably wouldn't wear it ) but I think the way it was applied is quite clever and VERY visually arresting.

Not my style, but as a blend of sub-continental and Highland influences, very appropriate for the occasion.

Interesting. I assume the idea was a symbolic blend of many tartans, rather than a general mishmash of color?

I would rock that kilt in a heartbeat! I think the design is fantastic. I would love to see pics of it being worn.
