I'm in central Utah. The small town of Santaquin, named for a Ute indian chief.
It's about 20-30 minutes south of Provo.

My "tag" on the forums indicates that I live in the "Queen City of the Rockies." I certainly did not originate that term - I think the gold miners of the late 19th Century, or the merchants who made their fortunes out of supplying those miners, were the ones.
Helena, Montana. County seat of Lewis & Clark County (yes, the two captains and their crew were through this country 200 years ago in July), and state capital. We're a "company" town, it's just that the company is government.
My website link (for the pipe band) contains a bit more information on Helena, but for those unfamiliar with the geography, we're slightly less than mid-way between the northwestern corner of Yellowstone National Park and the southern boundary of Glacier National Park, 15 miles east of the Continental Divide, and 60 miles NNW of the headwaters of the Missouri River.
If you want my street address, pm me and let me know you're headed this way. I'll stock up on the whisky or the whiskey, depending upon your preference. Tuesdays are a good night to hit town if you want to take in a traditional Irish music session (kilts are optional, but not unwelcome), and Thursday night is pipe band practice!
Regards,
Mac

I know where that is! You're about an hours drive from me (London).

You mean like this? If only it had a 'zoom' feature, that would be awesome.
I'm in beautiful Bucks County, PA, about 30 miles outside of Philadelphia and my favorite place in the world.

Several years ago my wife and I lived in Toronto (Canada's largest city, centre of business and banking, and generally despised by the rest of Canada - or, as Torontonians might refer to it, the hinterland). We then I moved to a log house on a country road, then three years ago moved again, this time to century home in a small town with our then newborn son, and then two weeks ago, back to Toronto. More specifically, we now live in the beaches. Very nice. Take a look at the pictures in the link (above). A little peace of heaven right beside downtown Toronto.

Ok, now that the seagull is gone I guess I'll get serious. I retired from the Navy in 91 at Camp Lejeune, NC. Figured that Jacksonville (the town by CLNC) was a good a jumping off spot as any just never found anyplace I thought worth jumping to. So here I am, still, in the meggaopolis of Jacksonville, NC home of Camp Lejeune and the USMC...and 40,000 seagulls.

that would be T'ranna for us then. spent a year in Scarberia living in the back of a greasy spoon on Lakeshore by Warden. There used to be a piper playing on the bluffs on frequent nights.
