What does it do to attendance if we move this event down to Fado's on the weekend 6/23 or 6/24?
Jim, I've got so many irons in the fire right now I've not had any time for S.E.K.S. That may be a topic we can talk about at the gathering.
Fado's on the weekend definitely works better for me. Love the place, and it's a wee bit closer.

KS, contact Cavscout. He lives up your way and you might be able to carpool to Fado's.
Let's get there a bit early, like 7 or so, to avoid the initial crush and get good parking. Wear a red rose in your hair so we can recognize everyone.
(just kidding...)

Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

Well, we're a week away so let's confirm some plans.
Fado's is the official event. That will be Saturday the 23rd. 7:00 PM or earlier is fine with me.
RSVP'S?

The un-official kilt night will be Thursday the 21st at Paddy's. How does 6:30 or 7:00 sound for that? If there's not much interest in this one, we'll bump it for another day when Mike and some of the others are back in town or not otherwise engaged.
RSVP'S?
Fado's on 6/23 is good for me. Unfortunately I have another commitment on Thursday, 6/21 at 7 in VA Highlands and can't rush back from Chateau Elan in time.
What is SEKS?

Glad you'll be able to make the Saturday gathering!
S.E.K.S. stands for Southeastern Kilt Society. Hopefully we can organize it into something of a redeeming value, if not, we'll just drink

I've got a lot going on, but I'm going to try to be there. Hope to see you all there.

We'll keep an eye out for ya!
If my estimates are accurate, we've got 5 to 6 firm and 2 to 3 maybes (counting our SC kilters) as well as the Memphis lads if they can be pulled away from their stomping grounds (how cool would that be).
The potential is there for a huge gathering of kilts from across the Southeast! I'm stoked! Now if Fado's has good chicken wings it will be a fantastic!
