I've got a very nice (and rather expensive I might add) leather 'swordsman' vest which I primarily wear with a jacobite shirt and kilt to ren faires. It looks great, but I dont know if i've ever worn the vest and a jacobite shirt 'casually' anywhere rather than just a polo shirt or tshirt + kilt.
Perhaps I should wear the vest more, to get my money's worth out of it. Is this a style that isnt considered too archaic to wear around casually? >_<
