    Cynthia,

I just made up a group for the Nor Cal Rabble. I take it the purpose of these groups is to make a "mini message board" for people of like-minded interests?

If so it seems a good idea. We can post our upcoming activities on the forum but leave all the little details and such to the group.

    Cheers

I'm really liking these new features. I've tried other forums and just give up as they don't have the features I've found here or the ease of navigation.

Translation = If Jamie and Grant can figure out the new features THEY ARE VERY USER FRIENDLY!

I set up a group for the Southern Ontario Kilt Society commonly known as SOKS, hey if I can do it, it's not that complicated.

I'll admit, I wasn't thrilled at the initial idea as Mike described the upgrades. But after playing with them all morning, I'm really digging the new additional options. I REALLY like that we can make albums. Anyone else found this?

You got it! It also helps people find you or helps you to find them. I know sometimes with our D/FW group, I get the feeling a lot of our folks don't always log on, but would love to get together. I could always look at the group and PM anyone I think might not know something's coming up but would be interested in, since they're part of the group.

I'm especially looking forward to discussing little details like "is everyone wanting to keep meeting at a pub or try something different?" and then start an actual kilt night thread on the forum to help keep things streamlined there.

    Hey Bradley,

Found an album thingie and was able to title an album and write a description, but can't find a way to upload pics to the album. Tried the upload feature but it doesn't give an album as an option. Tried the toggle thingie, that ain't it.

Still low on the learning curve.

I haven't made one here yet, but I have on the other board I'm on. They're very neat and I look forward to adding some photos here when I get the chance

Great work on the upgrades, Mike! What am I missing to create an attached image in a message? Went over to the vBadvanced forum FAQ and it mentions a "Manage Attachments" button in the post composition page but nothing like that is showing up.

The photo albums and social groups are going to be very useful.

    Thanks!
