coming to SF CA
I'm coming out on business to San Francisco February 27-March 2. Any chance of a Kilt nite, say Wed or Thurs.? I've only been to SF once before and don'r really know the city, but am willing to cab a reaonable distance if need be. What say you all, gentlemen?

If you're free on Thursday or Friday, I'd be happy to show you around the area -- kilted, of course.

I work in SF. I might be free that Thursday for a kilted gathering, Wednesday would be a sure thing.
Best regards,
Jake

Turpin,
I've heard from a couple of others that Thurs may work for them, and Weds no longer does for me. Where abouts are you staying?
Best regards,
Jake

Unfortunately, I'll be back east that week. My suggestion was going to be 6 pm at House of Shields on Thursday, but I'll leave it to those that can attend.
Wherever you go, raise a black-and-tan for me!!!

Likely the Argent Hotel. It is at 50 3rd Street.
House of Shields is at 39 New Montgomery, a mere 2 blocks away, a straight shot and easy walk up Jessie Street from the front of the Argent and an easy walk from the New Montgomery BART station.
From there, you can go to dinner anywhere in the area, up on Market or around the SOMA neighborhood. Rickenbacker’s Yesteryear is at 133 2nd Street (look for the motorcycles in the windows). If you like Thai food, try OSHA on 2nd. It is located at 149 2nd Street. Great cocktails and I highly recommend the Volcano Beef!

This'll only be my second time in SF. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all. When the time gets nearer we can exchange some cell numbers.
