If I went topless kilting, I would end up blinding evryone within visual range with the glare from my VERYpale skin. Of course, if I had cool body art like yours Ron, I might take the chance. After giving out lots of pairs of sunglasses first. lol

I am always up for shirtless sallys out into the yard - now that the good weather is here. Shirtless anywhere in Canada during the winter is a bad idea. (Except maybe spring skiing.) Of course, the other day my wife came out while I, clad only in my utilikilt and boots, hose scrunched down, digging holes for new shrubs, and called me her celtic god. It would have been very flattering but for the slight smirk.

I'll give it a try soon, but it will have to be from the back, ya see the front has to many scars, large ugly ones. That's why I don't go shirt less.

    Ron,

Definitely not a look for everyone, but you pull it off well. I can especially understand it being a necessity sometimes out where you live.

To me, what's offensive or embarrassing is the way people act rather than how they look. Treating yourself and others with kindness and acceptance is what's important--not whether you have fat or scars or no tan. YMMV.

If only you could rub that thinking off a little around my part of the world.

Personally, I find a man who's a bit "flabby" and who is comfortable in his own skin to be more attractive, much more than I do someone who is "athletic & toned". Give me 'down to earth & flabby' over 'rock hard abs' any day!

Of course, finding a man who can accept a gal who is a bit flabby as well is even more difficult!

Kudos to you lads who can do what makes you comfortable!

Cheers to you lassie! Unfortunately (for you), I've already found my life-mate; but, rest assured that if you're still looking, there are certainly more men like me who value their women for more than their conformity to prevailing society's (unreasonable) standards of 'beauty', out there.

After all, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." No one should be afraid to bare themselves among their fellow humans, and least of all before a mirror, in the pursuit of simple comfort. Body image is fundamental to self-esteem IMHO. With sufficient self-esteem, the rude comments of others should bead like water on a duck's back. I don't need to see you to know that you are a beautiful person.

By extension, I feel the same way you do about people who are comfortable in their skins despite not being models of athleticism; therefore, I'm confident that if you work on your own self-esteem in that regard you will doubtless attract others of a similar ilk (among the usual hordes of degenerates).
