    In case this information is not generally known:

    In debugging the web site Steve and his v-Bulletin guy found many small add-on programs that were bogging down the site as it were. One of these programs was the one that added the tartan background. That's why it disappeared in the first place. It's back now and has been added "correctly" to the software.
