This card dates from World War I and is from the collection of Rev. William White Anderson, St. Cuthbert's, Edinburgh.

We have a mixed household: My wife and kid love Christmas, but I celebrate Festivus (please note the aluminum pole behind my head.)
Let the Feats of Strength begin!

Yep. Nothing warms the heart quite like the sight of a woman and child being manhandled. You should have heard the grievances I aired. Love me some Festivus!

Happy Festivus LitTrog, I see that you have got a handle on two of the traditions
Festivus pole - tick
Festivus dinner
Airing of Grievances
Feats of Strength - tick
Festivus miracles
Can we expect to see the rest
All the best to you and the family

Easily one of the greatest photos I've ever seen.. Anywhere. This is definitely getting printed and framed in my living room

I'm kilted in two pics on this card, but you can only see the top of one. This card is being mailed out today far and wide, so I figured time to post it fer the rabble.

Thank you, Chas and Madmacs, for putting the record straight about Christmas.
Of course not everyone around here is Christian, and we must make allowances for that. My own brother is an atheist, although he and his family celebrate a pagan Yule.
CT, I am glad to see that your Polish lady is wearing the Buchanan tartan – so I would say she more than tolerates your kilting.
Thanks to everyone who posted for the pics of folk in kilts.
Regards,
Mike
