Show Us Your Christmas Cards!
Season's Greetings!
With the coming Christmas season, I'm sure most of us will be sending Christmas cards to friends and loved ones, and I thought it might be fun to share any creative samples The Rabble might be sending out this year!
Popular these days, are cards that incorporate photos, usually family shots with the spouse and kids. This year I ordered some photo cards to send out, primarily to newly reacquainted family I hadn't seen in 30 years (Mom's whole side of the family - we had a grand reunion last July.)
So to start the thread off, here's what I'll be sending out. I based this year's cards on the photo you see as my avatar. It's recent, I like the shot, and its kilted. ;)
And since I don't have postal addresses (or postage!) to send to all of you, please accept this as my Christmas greeting card to all of you!

Lets see how many can add their own cards to this thread between now and Christmas, to share with everyone! If you are sending photo cards this year, but cant scan or screen-capture an image of the actual card design, just post the photo you've selected for the card, and let's see some great pics!

Sorry, to be a killjoy. I resist this with a passion every year, as Christmas is being forced earlier and earlier.
As far as I am concerned Advent does not start till the 2nd of December this year and that is when I will start to celebrate.

Hanukkah starts Dec. 8th this year, and I wanted to be sure my cards reached those who celebrate it in time. There's more than one holiday celebrated this season.

That is an excellent picture.
And I always picture Mickey when I think "serenity." Tight-jawed, apoplectic serenity.

I don't have any kilt related cards to contribute to this thread but I can't agree that it could be too early to do the cards. Overseas cards need to be posted well in advance of Christmas and our local scouts deliver local cards as a fundraiser, and they require all Christmas cards which they are to deliver to be handed in by noon on Saturday 1st December. We put our Christmas tree up last weekend and this week I am writing my Christmas cards. The joy of the Christmas season is short enough without spoiling it by last minute panic.

I had intended to start a thread like this on December 1 -- however, since the thread is now going...

Merry Christmas from Rob, Linda, and Alexander!
The picture was taken at JC Penney - they have a special through 11/30 for a free 8x10 and a free digital copy. This is the digital copy. We also ordered Christmas cards and more copies of other photos at the same session. It only cost $35 or so for 3-8x10, 4-5x7, and 36 cards - and then someone gave us a $25 coupon (liked my kilt ) so we only spent $9.
The blessings of the season to all.
