Though I spend more time reading, I do love a good movie!

    In random order:

    The quiet man
    Shawshank redemption
    Jeramiah Johnson
A million ways to die in the west
The good the bad and the ugly

Those are my list for today, tonight or tomorrow it may change completely!

Interesting to think of. First one is always first: The Book and the Rose
    Others would be:
    Babette's Feast
    Whisky Galore
    Saving Private Ryan
    Jonny English

There are others that could be in there too but not much different.

I love older films and find there are several older movies I just do not get tired of watching. In no particular order here they are

    Casablanca (1942)
    The Third Man (1949)
    Tunes of Glory (1960)
Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)
    A Christmas Carol/Scrooge (1950)

Great lists from everyone so far.

    My faves

Apocalypto (Mel Gibson film about S. American Indians...great action)
The Patriot (another Mel Gibson film)
Wizard of Oz (the kid in me)
    Quigley Down Under
    Man of Steel
    Zulu
#6 would be a combination of 007 movies, especially with Daniel Craig (but I still like to watch Sean Connery)
#7 might be The Ten Commandments, with Charelton Heston.

They're all different, I know, but I have varied interests. I just love movies

This is indeed a tough one. There are a lot of good movies, but I'll give it a shot!

    1. Snatch (2000)
    2. Falling Down (1993)
    3. The Longest Day (1962)
    4. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
    5. Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
