Well only once which was at the Wales Motorcycle show about 3 weeks ago and I was wearing my Unionkilts leather kilt at the time. I didn't think anyone would make a big thing of it and nobody did and I haven't seen any photos taken to proclaim it to the net.

    Wouldn't normally do it!
Bless you my son. You are truly forgiven ............................ but don't EVER do that again!!

Sandals and kilts, yes. Sandals, kilts and socks, NO!

I, too, that's what I was getting at. I'm usually wearing sandals & sock with troosers.

London, New Year's Eve, rain. I'm wearing sandals---with waterproof breathable booties, naturally, but you can believe I'm wearing socks!
Greenwich, next day, snow on the deck of the Cutty Sark. Ditto.

However, my apologies to the members & moderators. I had no idea we were getting into a religious topic.

Have you seen the Acorn brand sandal socks? They're fun and colorful, and they're made of high-tech materials that wick moisture away from your feet. I've actually waded flooded washes in them, and had my feet feel dry within half an hour.
