My son finally got his kilt on! He turned 4, and someone told him it was out to get him, but as I got him ready for bed, he asked for his kilt and as I got it out he said "it not hurt my feelings anymore"

Sure, he's got it on over his pajama shorts, and doesn't have a shirt on, but it's a step in the right direction. I hope to get a pic uploaded soon.

I'm a rendezvouser and reenactor, as well as a piper. My kilt wearing is generally done in conjunction with one or the other of those pasttimes. My grandkids were used to seeing me in a Great Kilt, but generally hadn't seen me in a regular Kilt. One day when I was heading out to a piping gig, number two granddaughter looked up and asked "PopPop, why are you wearing a skirt?" I explained to her that it was a Kilt, just slightly different from the Great Kilt she had seen me in before. Her response was "Ok, but why is your purse wrapped around your middle?" I guess the chain sporran belt confused her.
All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.

I was washing my hands in the restroom of a well known restaurant in New York City when a father walked his young son (maybe 5 year old) into the men's room. The young boy proclaimed "He is wearing shorts!" and the father said "No, he is wearing a kilt." I just listened and said nothing as I walked out.
