Ted, everyone else has said what really needs to be said, but I just have to add what an aboslutely great outfit that is. You look every bit the well-turned out gentleman, and the total effect is just terrific.

Thanks for bringing us all along in the journey.

    Thank you, Sir, my pleasure.

Guess I should add in here that the kilt is a modified Stillwater wool in a half set of the Weathered Lamont tartan. The hose are The Scottish Tartans Museum's "Lewis Kilt Hose."

Just goes to show what can be done with little money, and lots of ingenuity and patience. I only wish I could see more people dressed that way. It would certainly improve the environment! Congratulations on a Job Very Well Done. Bravo Zulu!

Thank you, Carolina Kiltman. I have been remembering back to when I was a teenager, I wore sport jackets or two piece suits quite a bit. I would have liked to have worn three piece suits with the waistcoat because I wanted to wear the watch chain across the front and a pocket square. Well, I finally can.

As the "Laird of East Mesa."

Sharp dressed man! I like to wear a pocket watch in my waistcoat, too, Ted. Those chains aren't cheap, either. Yes, the brown hose are fitting, too!

Thank you, Sir Robert and Jack Daw.
It's true that out here, one is expected to wear a head cover of some sort for sun protection these days. I am looking into what kind of hat or bonnet would be propper for the outfit.

I prefer a pocket watch to the wrist watch.. partly because I am a potter. Mine has raised bumps where the numbers would be, and there is no chrystal so I can feel the hands. Unfortunatly, that means that I have to have it cleaned frequently. I tried using the cheap ones by popping the plastic chrystal off, but they are not worth the cost of having them cleaned. I think I've had this one for about... twenty-two years or so.
