What a great thread idea. Here are a few showing some outfits that you are likely to see me wearing on any given day you visit the Scottish Tartans Museum.

Great responses all. The beauty and magesty of Riverkilt's shots, the beauty and magesty of Anciene Alliance's are amazing. The shot in Paris was a little emotional for me, my 13 year old daughter has been in Paris this past week, traveling with another family, then to a farm in the south of France for a month...I miss her...McMurdo and Panache deserve thanks, Rex Tremende's vistas are a wonder...ok, I shouldn't single anyone out, all of the responses are great--should've just stopped there, at my first sentence.
"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.

I'll pull this one in here...

Out in the little garden earlier this spring, doing a little work:

Obviously not working up much of a sweat yet. Not like today, when it's about 35 degrees out there (and all the plants are waist high).

Heh...still got my winter "insulation." I've sweated a lot of it off now!

I thought I'd put this photo in also this was taken in March in Franklin North Carolina and shows two members wearing what they would on any given day. It was a bit cool that morning hence my choice of Arran sweater
