Speaking of snails...
Where do you find giant snails?
At the end of a giant's fingers

It's hard to sneak up on a sponge because of their poriferal vision.

a guest on a fishing trip was having a hard time bringing in a fish. Every time he got a fish to the bank it would get loose. The guide pointed out he was breaking a basic rule saying "Your fish is mine to come land"

We are experiencing high winds today. I've been watching the shadows of huge limbs sway wildly. I can even see right outside my window the main trunk of a 16" (40 cm) diameter tree swaying with about 5 degrees arc.
I don't want to lose any trees, so I am cheering for them.
Yay trees!
Yay trees!
You can stand up to the breeze
I guess you could say that I am rooting for them.

You're really going out on a limb with that one. At least you're branching out and getting away from fish puns.

Betwig you and I, we should be able to come up with a few, though older ones might ring a bell.

A member of the family didn't know that he had an allergy to that species. It was touch and go for a while, but they finally got that fish out of Walter.

His allergic reaction was that his walleyes got swollen.
