First Annual Ithaca NY Highland Games

I see Mary has updated www.ithacascottishgames.com with links to photos, several from here. Also she is requesting feedback for next year, which is probably the most important of the two. I'm hoping this will grow and improve as I like having a games/festival this close to home. With gas the way it is and will be, it may not be all that possible to attend some of the more well established events so all the more reason to help the local ones grow and prosper.

Now here is a good looking kilt.. I was not sure of the spelling of this one. Its either the "Lion Heart" or "Lionheart"



I have alot more that I will be sorting through, and will post some on flickr or my space page...

That's the first time I've seen that Tried googling it but couldn't come up with anything. Anybody know more about it?

It was good seeing Mexipiper again, and meeting Barb, Di and her kids, Beerbecue (I'm sorry, I tried to cover your shame, really I did ...), Kerr the Walker and his father and brother.
The pictures are on my computer, it's just a matter of uploading them - I'll try and get to that tomorrow. Of course, Glen and I were wandering around together, so most of our are duplicates - I should only have to post the ones taken after his camera died (spare batteries, Glen - spare batteries).

Just got one more from Gary, when we were on the way down we realized that a certain section of the road was patrolled by Birds of Prey, and had to get a photo for posterity, the entire time we were in thtis town we were waiting for the police to un-cloak behind us
