Kilted Friday Not
Well if someone asks me why the kilt, today? My answer will be "it is 'hump' day". I put on my Burnett's & Struth casual kilt in Malcolm tartan.
What adventures await?

I worked for Getty Oil Company as their Medical Department Administrator in Kuwait in the 80s. Our Medical Director was an Egyptian. I shared once with him on Wednesdays of our work week in the States we called it hump day as we gotton over the hump of our work week. (In the Moslem world their weekends are Friday and Saturdays.) After sharing that, on Tuesdays, Dr. Sabat would exclaim to me its camel day!

Well, its been two days of kilt wearing in three working days. Not one question, today at work about the kilt!
Anyhow, went to Park Lane Tavern after work. As I was sitting at the bar, one of the lovely serving lasses sat down beside me and said, I thnk our skirts are of the same tartan. Then her eyes got real big and said I meant kilt. No insult taken lass, I replied. You are welcome to sit beside me anytime and compare tartans!

A couple of weeks ago I started a new job with a new company. My Manager knew about the kilts as I'd talked about them during my first interview and he had indicated that he wouldn't be bothered if I wore kilts to work on casual fridays. Today was the first friday in the office for me as I'd been off-site training last friday.
So I wore one of my kilts; my SWK Ancient Hunting MacRae.

During the afternoon I get an email from the HR lady with the coment: LOVE THE KILT. I think that this may become a rather regular thing!
