My MOS will be Corp of Engineers. I have a ton of experience in the construction field. Also in the Security field. My eyes glazed over when they started talking about assigning an M-16 to me. Scared the hell out of the XO. So now I'm an Engineer.

Since the STATE Guard is a totally Volunteer org. I've got to find some TCU's. Anybody got a cheap connection?

Wow, they make you PAY for your uniforms? You get 4 issued during Basic...that should tide you over till you get your clothing allowance in October. Google Propper (I think thats the name) uniforms...thats about what you'll pay anywhere. Good luck.
And, if you decide on an army tartan, go with the usa kilts casual. I wore mine out for the first time today...loved it!
