Wretched Excess, and String the knitting Thing

Kazowie String - them are some pretty fancy hose you've got going there! Sleep in, stay up late and be sure to enjoy your time off between sessions.

String I was one really big problem with those hose.




They weren't being knit for me. Other than that they are great. I am impressed.

They have kilt camp we need to get a knit camp going. From the expertise being shown here we could have a number of teachers.

What you can't see in this is that I think both my legs would fit in this sock... but I didn't try. I do have some concerns about the top fitting, as knitting stretches more to side to side than from top to bottom, but this may be my fit paranoia kicking in.

What I need to do is find someone with similar measurement and try it on them, but right now it's my dad's poor swollen legs from his medicine, or my chicken legs.

I suppose Mr. Yeti is nowhere to be found 'till you get back to school?

What you can't see in this is that I think both my legs would fit in this sock...

P.S. Don't forget that the recipient's definition of "recreation" includes hurling 56 pound rocks about the countryside. I.e. trust the measuring tape.

He is coming home on Wednesday, I have not seen him since December 14th. This may interfere with sock progress.

*raises eyebrow* It might, it might not, at the very least I'll have a 2 hour car ride on Friday. Sadly even before he arrives home (4 days!) I am stalled by a yarn shortage, I have more on the way but I have knit all I can until the mail comes.

I have knit this far on the second sock.
