That is just plain eerie! In 1977, I, too, was 30 years old. Not only that, but
I, too, appeared in Shakespeare's plays! Where it gets interesting is that in
the late 1980s, following some strange weekends in Virginia Beach, I was present at a seance with a famous trance channel who must at this time
remain un-named, and communication with Booth was established, and I was
able get proof of his involvement in the possession of an army surplus dealer
who owned a shop in Leith Walk. So it's incontrovertible! John Wilkes Booth
is the reason we have this veritable Biblical plague of white socks.
On a serious note, good one_ not many know about the Greek and the circumference. But I expect it of you.

I think I've found a clue! With so many military bands wearing spats, I think that the casual, uninvolved and careless observer may just have the idea that Scots' legs need to be white.
