Preaching the kilted life
Almost everytime I go out in my kilt, which is most weekends and some weeknights, I get the questions. And I usually tell them about the attention of attracive women, the comfort, the pride in my heritage, my complete lack of musical ability, and close up with a plug for xmarksthescot and USAKilts. I have not seen any of these guys join xmarks, but someday I hope I will. I guess I need to get some stickers/business cards printed with the logo, because I'm not sure how coherent these guys are when I give them the URL.
Anyway, last week, I wandered over to my local where Geno and Dan do the raunchiest and vulgarest quizo night I have ever attended. They take the piss out of everyone, and I fully expected to get slammed for the kilt. Much to my suprise, they thought it was great and plugged the xmarks and USAKilts in front of a crowd of 40 or so. Looking at their website, I now know why.

Is anyone else plugging this site to strangers (not just friends) who seem honestly interested kilts? Any luck in converting heathens and saving their mortal souls from the mundane life of trouserdome?

You might consider making some stickers:
Or buying a Tee Shirt:
Find them at: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/xmarket_propoganda.php

I dont think the blue shirt will match any of my kilts, Black Watch, Royal Stewart, Grey Stewart, and Black STewart (on order). In black it would be ideal (hint hint, nudge, nudge, eh Hank?)
