For those kilted lads in the Midwest, St. Charles, Missouri, just west of St. Louis, willhold its annual Missouri Tartan Day parade and festival on Saturday, April 2, 2005. Whilst not as big as the NYC event, I'm sure, Missouri's Tartan Day celebrations are growing each year, and are attracting more and more Scots from around the Midwest:

The parade winds through the historic Main Street area of St. Charles, the first capitol of Missouri and an early French settlement along the Missouri River.

I plan on being there, and I know Dana will be there as well, but we'd love to have all of the Midwest "Xmarkers" attend and join us as we "bring forrit the tartan!" in St. Charles!
