Scottish Biker?
I'm in our nations capital (Ottawa, Canada) walking through the park by The National Arts Centre. I'm wearing my navy blue leather kilt, and this fellow comes up to me and asks if I'm a "Scottish biker?" I figure what the heck I am a biker but not Scottish, but how's he gonna know?
I reply "Yes I am. You have a problem with that?" He replies "no" and we both laugh. I walk a little further and there is a group of folk that are less well off than I, and the brave lady of the group comments "A little drafty isn't it?" I reply "ah yes but it's warm air!" Got a wonderful laugh from her.
A peach of a day(sold a few more kilts today too!) Man it's great to be kilted.
Cheers All

Yes, it's great to be kilted. But it's even better when you're a kiltmaker and get to spread the joy more than most!
Ooh! I smell a blog.
All right! Who blogged in here? Someone light a match and open a window!

Just because you got off your Harley you wonder why people come up with those type of comments

I'm doing an opera here in Ottawa. I've been wearing a different kilt each day for tech rehearsals in the theatre. The dressers( the ladies who assist the artists with their costumes) Have been rating the leather kilts based on the swish factor.
Results; #1 Saffron #2 British Tan #3 Dark Navy #4 Black(However my wife says the black has a decent swish) Been having a great time here. Opening night tomorrow. time to bring out the full kit. The ultimate swish my Blackwatch with PC Jacket....love putting smiles on the ladies of the chorus dressers and the soloists.
Cheers All

Correct or Toi Toi for Opera. The term "Break a leg" is from when an Actor enters from the wings on stage. The legs are the curtains in the wing that hides the backstage from the audience. To break a leg is to come from the wing onto the stage hence the term.

As one kilted thespian to another, I applaud your knowledge of theatrical expression. *claps and bows*

I knew saffron leather was number one!!
If you haven't acquired a leather RKilt yet you GOTTA put one on your list...they smell as good as they look.

Another comment last night from a woman in the chorus... "You sure know how to make an Irish woman hungry" That got her a twirl and I got some oohs and ahs from other ladies of the chorus...what a night...
