    Propper attire.

I will be going to the Sacramento highland games latter this month. The question that I have is what should I wear. I am of two minds on this. On the one hand, my traditional Gordon Tartan is obviously the right and appropriate dress for a Celtic festival. But seeing how it is a traditional midweight wool kilt I wonder how comfortable it will be in California's central valley. We might not be at the height of summer yet, but I expect that it will be hot.

I could also wear one of my UK Workman's. The guys from Seattle will be at the games, and it would be a hoot to show up at their booth in a UK. Also, I think that I would be more comfortable, but is it propper to wear a non-traditional kilt?

These days Tim it is acceptable to wear either. I have seen many UKs and other non-trad kilts at the games and I go to a lot of them...
