Back from the weekend
Had a nice time away down south, while there, we experienced an unusually heavy fall of snow on the mountain in Hobart, Tasmania. We drove up and had a great hike along a trail for an hour or so.
My new wool solid from RKilts was wonderfully warm, combined with a leather jacket.
The mountain was full of sightseers enjoying the snow.
One scottish man exclaimed "now that's what I like to see," referring to the kilt, while a bunch of lads with snowballs said "let's get the guy in the kilt" which they did - all in fun.
The last shot is with my son Daniel wearing his USAK philabeg. He wears it much of the time now.

On the last one did you hear anyone say push those guys in the kilts into the water?
I do love having snowball fights with people while kilted it is a lot of fun!

Super photos Graham, and that 'plain' kilt really suits you. What's your second one to be?!!
Strange to read about the cold weather and snow. Here, we're having Spring at last, with the odd day of Summer thrown in - I've even had my morning coffee whilst sitting out in the garden recently! Wow! It'll be lunch next.
Down here in the south of England, we desperately need rain however. The natural aquifers and our reservoirs are less than half as full as they should be at this time of year. Already, parts of Surrey and Sussex have hosepipe bans and ours is expected to be imposed by the middle of June. You'd better bring a bottle or two of water when you visit in July!!!

thankfully, no Glen, that would not be fun.
Thanks Hamish, I've not even thought of another plain kilt but you can be sure that I will look at some in Scotland.
Australia is also suffering a drought right now too, global weather changes seem to be affecting us all.

Great photos, Graham . . .
. . . from the Great White North . . . Canada.
I'm now answering the question 'isnt't that warm', after months of 'aren't you cold?' Gotta love Canadian weather. And the questions.
