diving into full time...
Hello forum! I am a newly kilted brother who has been lurking here and now am posting my tale. My story begins a long, long time ago (June 5, 2005) in a far, far away land (Asbury Park, New Jersey). It was the NJ Pride Festival and my church was there with a table and tent. It was the first hot day of the summer and when I saw a vendor selling modern kilts (it was Utilikilts), I thought; "now here's a way to cool off" and so I purchased my first kilt. Needless to say, I was in Unbifurcated Bliss! Upon returning home, I explored the internet for kilts and the likes and discovered a whole nation of men who wore nothing but... My courage was bolstered and I decided then and there that I would (at least try to) be a full time kiltie. So far I have succeeded and the response has been very positive, especially from my credit card company!!!. I now own five UK's, three 4 yrds in various poly-v tartans, and my first 4yrd wool kilt from Campbell's as well as a tweed jacket. I just recently ordered (after the loan was approved) :o my first 8yrd kilt in my family's (Buchanan) tartan from Geoffrey(Tailor).
I'm looking forward to hearing from you...Court
